Song of the Celts combines the best elements of Celtic traditional music with the contemporary arrangements and vocal harmonies for which the band is known. During their numerous tours and many years on the road, Golden Bough has amassed quite an impressive collection of songs and instrumental tunes from Ireland and Scotland, some of which are featured on Song of the Celts . Also included on the new CD are pieces from Wales, The Isle of Man, French Brittany and even a tune from Galicia. The customary quality in recording, and good taste in the arrangements, capture the pure elements that make this music so popular.
