This sword belonged to the Castillian knight Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, known as El Cid Campeador in the XI century.
He was the prototype of the knight and loyal vassal who took part with his King Alphonse VI in the conquest of Toledo. He later went on to liberate the city and kingdom of Valencia from the Moors.
The sword is 6 inches long, and available in silver, bronze and gold.
