Apply primer to cover old paint, plastic and epoxie. This is regular primer that comes in a spray can, and can be found in any hardware or paint store. Since this horse is going to be a blanket Appaloosa, the front half of the horse is dark and the back end white. Note how the colors blend into each other. This is a good place to practice as the primer won't show on the finished model.
