Here's a collection of large
hilted swords. Originally made
as letter openers the hilts
are designed to be used by
human hands. The blades are
uniform with highly decorated
hilts in three finishes,
bronze, antique silver and
bright gold.
Swords like the Claymore and
Excalibur--those with long
relatively narrow handles are
suitable for GI Joe and the
other large handed action figures.
Going by blade legnth the
swords are mostly 1/6 scale.
But some of the hilts are
quite large and would be
suitable for much larger dolls
and figures
